Rainer Will CEO, Austrian Retail Association

Rainer Will has been Managing Director of the Austrian Retail Association since 2014 and is the publisher of RETAIL magazine. He serves on the Board of Directors of the European retail association Ecommerce Europe. Will was the initiator of the e-commerce apprenticeship program in Austria and a complainant in the Federal Competition Authority’s investigation against Amazon, aiming to ensure a fair marketplace. He is the author of the professional books “The End of Online Shopping” and “How Real Are You? Manifesto of Digitalization.” He studied business administration alongside his career at WU Vienna and the London School of Economics.
