Best practices for outfitting & styling

One thing I’m hearing from brands and retailers I speak with is that they’re pouring money into photoshoots. Unfortunately, they’re only capturing 10% of the product catalog in the process, because it’s only humanly possible to style that many outfits on a mannequin. What if you could do more?

I started my career working at Brooks Brothers, the oldest clothing company in the United States, established in 1818. The reason this is relevant is because from my experience in retail, inspiration is everything. When you think about it, customers shop at certain brands because they want to look like the model they see in the advertisements. They want to be empowered to be the best version of themselves.

Customers are looking for instant gratification, so they’re not necessarily taking the time to shop with a dedicated Sales Associate in the store. It is imperative that you reach your customers with similar experiences to that which I described above, but on every channel which they are susceptible to use in order to buy your products.

Staff turnover is a huge pain-point for retailers and brands. Thanks to technology, you can ensure that your staff is both efficient and gets ramped up quickly to acquire deep brand knowledge and is empowered to inspire shoppers throughout their customer journey.

In this workshop, I’ll be sharing my best practices around outfitting and styling in order to show you how to share your unique editorial vision at scale.
