Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based technologies have extensively revealed their pervasive impact and transformative potential on social and productive dynamics for several years now. The advent of generative systems, starting with ChatGPT and beyond, has further highlighted the innovative power of these technologies, enabling the development of automation processes characterized by unparalleled ease of use. It has been estimated that Generative Artificial Intelligence alone has the potential to generate value equivalent to 4.4 trillion dollars annually on a global scale. In Italy, it could contribute to increasing the GDP by up to 18.2%, representing a unique opportunity to strengthen the national economy. The aim of this presentation is to analyze this technology, focusing on the tangible opportunities it already provides today to act as a catalyst for development in the productive and entrepreneurial fabric.
