Margot Olifson currently holds the role of COO for eBay in Italy, being responsible for strategy and budget, acquisition of new professional sellers and definition of services to support sellers and buyers. Graduated in International Management at Bocconi University in Milan, she began her career at eBay in London and then grew within the company working, over the past 11 years, also at the Zurich and currently Milan offices. At eBay she held various roles that allowed her to achieve a 360 knowledge of the marketplace. She has been responsible for several years of the private seller business, in charge of the definition of eBay's strategy and positioning within the second-hand sector and the circular economy for the Italian market. She has also been working in Marketing, Pricing, and Business Development. Finally, Margot is currently the leader of Women@eBay in Italy, an internal eBay program, created with the aim of offering all women an opportunity for growth, both personal and professional, thus promoting a more inclusive and sustainable environment for eBay.
