Luca Corti is the Country Manager in Italy at Mastercard. With his role, he is leading the evolution of the Italian market towards the digitalization, with the aim of shaping the future of payments and services starting from the most advanced technologies. Luca has been at Mastercard since 2008 and has gained extensive experience in business strategy and development in the fields of IT, digital banking services, and fintech. Over the years, he has held various positions of increasing responsibility within the Company, including being Vice President of Business Development and Strategy, and most recently, Vice President of FinTech and Digital Partners Italy. Previously, he also held the role of Customer Security & Risk Manager for Italy and Greece. Among his previous experiences, he had a formative path at SIA (now Nexi), where he held various roles in the field of payments and supporting technology, including the design of products in the security and fraud management sector. Luca graduated in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and obtained a master's degree in Mathematics and Info Security from Royal Holloway University of London.
