Alessandro Boglione was born in Turin on March 25, 1988. He is the Chief Executive Officer of the BasicNet Group, an Italian company headquartered in Turin that owns brands in the clothing, footwear, and accessories sector, including Kappa®, Robe di Kappa®, K-Way®, Superga®, Sebago®, Briko®, Woolrich®, and Sundek®.
Within the company, Alessandro holds an operational and financial role and, over the years, has shown a particular focus on the economic return of the European market, developing a retail project with direct management of this area. He also oversees human resources management, actively contributing to organizational development and the enhancement of human capital.
He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Turin and a Master's in Management from ESCP Europe, further pursuing his education in finance in London and specializing in entrepreneurship in Paris. He joined BasicNet in 2011, at the age of 23, in the commercial division. Since then, he has held various roles within the company: from 2017 as CEO of BasicItalia, in April 2019 he joined the Board of Directors of BasicNet S.p.A., before becoming CEO of K-Way in 2022, a role he held until February 2025, when Permira acquired a 40% stake in the brand. Alessandro Boglione is also President of Kappa Srl and Sebago Srl, and CEO of Superga.
In 2025, he assumed the role of CEO of the BasicNet Group, alongside his brother Lorenzo, thus completing the generational transition within the company founded by their father Marco.
Alessandro has a deep passion for the outdoor world and the sports universe: among various disciplines, he pursues golf with particular interest. Alessandro lives in Turin and is the father of Luna and Marco.
