Roberto Addeo is an entrepreneurial manager with over 20 years of experience in digital commerce. His career began as a pioneer at Bow.it, where he started as an intern at just 18 years old, climbing the ranks to help launch OVO.it, one of Italy's first flash sales sites. Not only a manager but also an entrepreneur, Roberto founded and managed B2B and B2C ventures in physical and digital retail, spanning diverse sectors such as fashion, food, home, and tech. This hands-on experience evolved into strategic roles at Triboo Digitale in 2018, where he led the development of the Merchant of Record business model for Marketplace channel management, offering brands like Dolce&Gabbana, Moleskine, Invicta, Yamamay, and many others full-service management across over 100 global marketplaces. Before taking the helm of Base.com in Italy in 2026, from 2020 to 2025 he built and launched Havas Market in Italy, the Havas Group's ecommerce, performance, and retail media division, quickly establishing it as a market benchmark. Today, he brings his field experience to Base.com, offering merchants the technology needed to govern the complexities of online commerce.
