Fabio Severino CTO, Founder, Rational AI

Fabio Severino is an Italian technology entrepreneur and CTO with over 10 years of experience in developing software products and innovative technologies. He holds 9 international patents and is the author of over 10 scientific publications on artificial intelligence, blockchain, and distributed systems. In his entrepreneurial journey, he successfully achieved an exit. He is the founder and CTO of Rational AI (since 2025), founder and former CTO of Traent, and CTO of Geckosoft Group. Born in Palermo, he moved to Pisa to study Computer Science at the University. During his university years, he founded Geckosoft, now a group, a company that develops complex software solutions in the fields of critical infrastructure, healthcare, and AI. In 2020, he co-founded Traent, a blockchain company that develops a Web3 ecosystem for transparent and sustainable businesses through a hybrid blockchain infrastructure. Throughout his career, he has led the development of platforms in the fintech, AI, and digital infrastructure sectors, including a bond trading platform for the Canadian market that processed over 3.2 trillion Canadian dollars in transactions in 2020.
