Concetta Fonzo is Deputy Coordinator of the EQAVET Italy National Reference Point and of ReferNet Italy. She is a public policy analyst and an expert in the EQAVET Peer Review methodology. She is a member of the INAPP research group “Accreditation and Quality in Education and Training” and is involved in the implementation of the National Operational Programs funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). She conducts research and analysis in the fields of vocational education and training, quality assurance systems, accreditation mechanisms, lifelong learning and guidance policies, as well as labor market dynamics and social inclusion. Her work focuses on governance models, performance indicators, evaluation frameworks, and the impact of European policies on national systems. She is a member of scientific and technical committees and boards within European initiatives and networks (including EQAVET, ReferNet, and CareersNet) promoted by institutions such as the European Commission, CEDEFOP, and the OECD. She has extensive experience in managing European projects, conducting research at the national and international levels, and engaging in transnational cooperation activities. She is the author of scientific and technical publications at the national and international levels, with contributions focused on comparative analysis and the formulation of evidence-based recommendations for public policy.
