In a competitive environment marked by increasing supply-chain complexity, demand variability, and a strong focus on service quality, integrated logistics is assuming an increasingly strategic role in value creation. It’s no longer simply about managing the supply chain as an efficiency-driven operational process, but about considering integrated logistics as a strategic lever capable of generating shared value among the company, the supplier, and the end customer.
Starting from the collaboration between Haier and Poste Logistics, the workshop offers an opportunity to reflect on the co-design model. Today, a paradigm shift is required in the client–supplier relationship, evolving from a purely contractual interaction into a collaborative partnership based on the sharing of objectives, data, expertise, and decision-making tools.
Through a joint design approach to logistics processes – from flow planning to warehouse management and distribution – integrated logistics emerges as a competitive factor capable of generating sustainable value for the end customer and for the entire supply chain.
