Laura was born in Tradate (VR) in 1971, she is married and has two children. She graduated in Political Economy from Bocconi University in Milan in 1995 and early later got a Master of Science in Economics from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. She spent the beginning of her career in consulting Firms, such as Ernst & Young Financial Services and AT Kearney, where she worked on strategic consulting projects, serving as Senior Manager in the Financial Institutions Group area. In 2004 she joined Banca Intesa, then Intesa Sanpaolo, with important, growing responsibilities in the Marketing area of Banca dei Territori, such as Head of Transactional Products (2010-2013) and Strategic Marketing (2013-2014). She joined the Poste Italiane Group in 2015 as Head of Retail Marketing in BancoPosta and, since 2018, she led the Affluent area, with the task of coordinating wealth management activities. In April 2019, until December 2020, she was appointed Head of BancoPosta. Then in 2021, she served as Head of the Top Customers and Public Administration Commercial Division. Since 2022, she is Postepay SpA General Manager, the Electronic Money Institute (ELMI), fully owned by Poste Italiane SpA.
