Giulio has been working in e-commerce since 2000, with extensive experience supporting companies of all types to start up and manage online initiatives effectively. His career has covered both the technical and business aspects of e-commerce, meaning he is able to bridge the gap between the two and make best use of the tools and technology available. In 2005, he has co-founded NETCOMM, the Italian eCommerce Association part of Ecommerce Europe, a knowledge hub where incumbent, start-up, pure players and brick&mortars meet and share their experience about the new frontiers of the digital transformation. Since 2009 he has collaborated as a consultant on the creation of more than forty Omnichannel Retail projects, including: Diego Dalla Palma, Furla, La Perla, Tod's, Maserati, Terranova, Roberto Cavalli, Xerjoff, La Martina, Illy, Rinascente, Fratelli Rossetti and Zegna. Since 2012 he has been coordinating and managing digital projects in China, in collaboration with major local players such as Alibaba, JD, WeChat and Douyin, as well as with some selected operational partners. Since 2022 Giulio is Retail Leader at Intarget, one of the most important italian digital agency, serving brands as Brunello Cucinelli, Ferragamo, Diesel, Kiko and Pupa. Giulio is a professor of Digital Retail and eCommerce at the Catholic University of Milan and at the Polytechnic of Milan, as well as in various Masters and specialization courses at IUAD Accademia della Moda, 24Ore Business School, LUISS and Suor Orsola Benincasa University.
