Giorgio Ferrero has been working in the innovation and Transaction Banking field since 1974 with Intesa SanPaolo He has participated to several relevant bodies and/or committees at national and international level, such as the European Payments Council, the Italian Committee for Payment and Settlement Services, Contact Group on Euro Payments Strategy at European Central Bank/ESCB, for the definition of best practices, business rules and new payment schemes. He was appointed EBA CLEARING’s Chairman of the Board from May 2004 to May 2013. PRETA S.A.S. was created in 2013 to develop market competitive solutions in digital payment and identity services and to be MyBank’s Solution Manager. Giorgio Ferrero became then Executive Chairman of the new-born company in 2014.
